FALL RIVER — Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., will be the principal celebrant and homilist of the Mass for Christmas to be broadcast on Christmas Day from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on WLNE-TV, Channel 6. The one-hour televised liturgy is sponsored by the Fall River Diocese.
The Portuguese Channel will air Christmas Mass in Portuguese at 8 p.m. on Christmas night. The Very Rev. Richard D. Wilson, V.G., pastor of Our Lady of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in New Bedford, will be celebrant and homilist for the Mass. The Portuguese Channel is carried by most cable systems in the Fall River Diocese.
